Our office is located in the Illini Union Bookstore Building. Enter the building through the northeast corner doors (not the main bookstore entrance). Take the elevator to the 5th floor and enter the Center for Advising and Academic Services.

Our staff meets with students regularly to discuss a variety of topics, including:
- Pursuing your academic and career goals
- Maximizing your time at the University of Illinois
- Strengthening your candidacy for a prestigious scholarship
- Critiquing application essays and other materials
Please book a meeting with us through our Canvas site. Appointments are generally scheduled for 1 hour. Students and alumni who live off campus may speak with us via phone or Zoom.
Material Review Policy: If you are wanting your scholarship materials reviewed we require that those materials be submitted to us as email attachments along with a few dates and times you would be available for an appointment no earlier than 2 business days after your submission.
As each scholarship has different requirements, please read the Illinois application instructions carefully regarding how to submit your materials. Some scholarships will need to be provided directly to our office, while others have their own application websites to upload materials directly.
